I don’t know if it’s the special egg food supplement we’ve been giving them, I think you’d normally give it to budgies, but we’ve never reared chicks that like to sit on your shoulder before.  They are growing up fast now. They don’t need the light bulb anymore and have now spent a couple of afternoons in the run with the big guys.

Today is a very special day. It’s the day WestNet came to install our new broadband. Hooray! It’s a great improvement. Feel we might be joining the real (virtual) world at last! It’s also Al’s birthday… Happy Birthday Al! Are you a happy boy now with your new broadband?

Fantastic. Vogue August arrived today. There was a price sticker on front that was EASY to peel off. In small neat letters it said ‘Jane’. Perfect. I’m very happy. It’s the little things….

The chicks are doing well.

The chicks are out in their playpen today. They are growing up fast. I’m toying with calling them Janet and Latoya but it’s still a little early. I have no idea what sex they are of course.
