I don’t think I have enough favourite quotes to make a list out of, but this one makes me smile. I tore it out of a sunday supplement and it’s been taped to the wall by my desk for years. Now it’s all yellow and the sellotape has perished so I thought I’d make a note of it here until I get around to my quotes list.
It’s by Fran Lebowitz the American author and it goes like this;

New user bandraoi has created a great list of quotations. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while. Sometimes I make a note of great quotations that I like and they are left around on scraps of paper. I’ve got a terrible memory for that kind of thing- like joke punchlines, I can never remember them when I want to use them. A Lifelist of quotes I like is a great idea.
