Richard Andrew Palethorpe Todd was born In Dublin, Ireland in 1919 and died on 3 December 2009 in Grantham, Lincolnshire, England. He is probably best known for starring in war films such as The Dam Busters and the Yangtse Incident and my favourite, The Hasty Heart. Source: IMDb
